The
Hoteles Más Verdes
Program is the result of the work of the
Argentine Association of Tourism Hotels (AHT).
It is validated by the Argentine Institute of Standardization and Certification (IRAM), which is the main accredited body for verifying compliance with the
Hoteles Más Verdes Certification Standard. It also has the recognition and support of the Ministry of Tourism of the Nation.
This is a voluntary, multi-criteria certification program under IRAM standards that awards labels to those environmentally preferable products and services compared to similar ones within the same category. This standard has been designed according to the Global Sustainable Tourism Criteria established by the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC) for hotels and tour operators, aiming for international recognition and accreditation.
